Dear Friends: Please find below the monthly calendar of events that I've personally selected for you. I'm happy to report steady activity in the Manhattan real estate market, and have a few new listings you can view at www.squadsquad.com. Last month, I shared with you the story of "Tripod," now "Friday," a little cattledog rescue I was lucky to adopt. Since then, I've gotten very involved again in Australian Cattle Dog rescue, in particular with 8 dogs saved in the last 6 weeks thanks to the efforts of many people from Georgia to South Carolina to Syracuse, and all along the way. with more coming. But we are always in dire need of foster homes - a night, a week, or a "forever" home - so we can get these dogs out of kill shelters and on safe transports, usually from south to north. If you or anyone you know might be interested in fostering a dog, please contact me. Sometimes, a place to stay for a night is the difference between life and death for these innocent souls. Right now, we have "Cowboy" in boarding in NYC, needing a loving, comforting home or foster. Please see more about him on at squad@elliman.com. A NOTE about these EMAILS: Only if you've ever signed in at an open house, or had emailed me for some reason or another, would you be on this list. We have recently switched to a different data-management system, and a few individuals who did not wish to receive this Calendar did receive them in July, with our sincere apologies. I'm hoping the problem has been resolved, but if by chance, you receive this email in error, or if you wish to be removed, we apologize in advance - please let me know, and I will do our utmost to correct the matter. Best, Squad
